  The girls were having so much fun celebrating ancestor Hittys birthday yesterday that they forgot to post a picture! Happy 205th birthday to our wonderful Hitty!!

Meet Hitty Bridgette

 Well, here I go again - I had to carve another Hitty. Meet Hitty Bridgette. Excuse her shoulder - it cracked as I was pegging her so I Kwik glued it and need to sand it. I may just have to carve another arm. Has this ever happened to you? Hitty Bridgette seems to be sweet and patient. Also excuse her crotch area. It’s not too neat but I’m liking how the legs fit this way.

I gave up on trying to mend Bridgette's arm so I just carved her another one. 

 Did you notice her pink shoes? Well, that is the one thing she requested - pink shoes.

It snowed in south Texas!

 We don’t get snow hardly ever around here and this was exciting! 

 I turned around and couldn’t find Bridgette and heard some squealing and looked outside and there she was in the snow and without a wrap! I ran out and grabbed her and told her little wooden girls shouldn’t get their feet wet! 

Lord, have mercy.

Bitty Twins

 I want to introduce you to our new little twins - Jude and Juliette! Little Jude is 3 1/4th” tall and little Juliette is 3” tall. They are going to fit in well with the family!

 These little twins are the smallest dolls I've carved so far. Of course they had to have clothes and Bitty Juliette's dress was simple but I had to make Bitty Jude's overalls two times to get them right! ARG!!

Here you can see Bitty Hitty Oopsie is taking care of the little twins and little Jude is just in love with Oopsie! I hope he won't be a handful!

New Crocheted Dresses

 Okay, Hitty Ivory saw Hittys Marvie and Harper’s new dresses and cried - where is mine!!??!! Well, I crocheted her one too but she told me she did not want the fluffy sleeves. Read my lips, my little wooden girls, I’m done! For now anyway!

New Dresses for the Bittys

 Mawmaw has been busy sewing new dresses for Bitty Hittys Oopsie and Jingle and they are modeling their new frocks! I think Sugar, the dog, approves too. Back in the corner, Becassine is reading to the other Bittys and they are enjoying the attention so much. I think we are going to have to get a bigger nursery to fit all of these little Bittys!

You're The Doll That I Want!!

 "I got dolls, they're multiplying! And I'm losing control. 'Cause the dolls that I'm carving - it's electrifying!" Get it? I can't stop so I carved some more girls - right: Hitty Harper, left: Hitty Ivory, sitting Hitty Oopsie. Hitty Oopsie was totally a mistake. I tried carving a Hitty and she turned out looking like a floozy so I got a bright idea and carved her down into a Bitty Hitty - so her name "Oopsie". I know, she's naked. She'll get some clothes soon.

So meet the new girls at my house - Hittys Harper and Ivory and Bitty Hitty Oopsie (Oopsie may need a mouth redo).

Meet Hitty Marvelous

 I had another little Hitty in my head dying to come out so I grabbed my wood and carving knives and went to town. 

Meet little Hitty Marvelous, Hitty Marvie for short. She told me she wanted to be a blonde so I painted her hair to please her.

 She seems to be a pleasant little thing and I think she will get along just fine with the other little gals.
