More Bittys

Somehow I just thought we needed more little Bitty Hittys at our house so I carved two more!

Meet Bitty Hitty Stormie and Bitty Hitty Erie.

They were having a good time in the sunroom when I took their picture.

Meet Bitty Hitty Stormie.

Meet Bitty Hitty Erie.

As you can see Bitty Stormie is older than Bitty Hitty but they are just the best of little friends.

So much fun we have in Hitty land!

In The Kitchen

Hitty Janina and Hitty Foofy wanted to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and surprise the other girls. Hitty Foofy popped the whole pumpkin in the iron skillet and Hitty Janina is having a fit! No, no! That’s not how you do it!

Anyway, they got new pinafores but I need a better pattern . Hitty Janina’s pinafore is a Gail Wilson pattern - pretty but too fiddley. Hitty Foofy’s is from a pattern I got off the internet but I don’t like it.

Here is Foofy in her pinafore. I didn't like the pattern but Hitty Foofy loves the fabric with the gummy bears on it.

This is Hitty Janina in her new pinafore. It's a Gail Wilson pattern and is pretty but it was kinda fiddly with me.

Poop! One day I'll find a pinafore pattern that I really like.

Meet Hitty Foofy

I had another Hitty in my head and I just had to try and carve her.

Meet Hitty Foofy!

I'm thinking her cheeks are a little too fat, what do you think? I could paint a little more hair at her cheeks. Hmmm...

Here is Hitty Foofy and her fat little cheeks.

And of course...her profile! She does have a skinny neck. I have a tendency to keep carving away at my girl's necks! What is wrong with me???

Well, Hitty Foofy doesn't seem to mind having fat cheeks and a skinny neck as she is having a ball playing with the pumpkins!!

Spooky Time

Well, my girls were looking through some of my old photos and fell in love with Stephen King's home in Bangor, Maine. Good grief! So they magically transported themselves to stand in front of his spooky gate! I hope they come back soon and don't get into some kind of trouble!!

The bunch could not wait to show you their Halloween costumes so here they are...
Trick or Treat!!

Meet Hitty Janina

Well, I had to carve another Hitty and this one is named Janina in honor of our Janet Cordell and Adina Huckins! I bought their book about carving a Hitty and it has helped me a lot! I'm certainly 'not there' yet, but I'll keep trying. Meet Hitty Janina!

I'm please with Hitty Janina as she has a rather curious look on her face.

I  always have to show you my girl's profiles. As you can see, I'm still not very good at sanding!

Now should I carve another Hitty doll?

Big Hitty Josie

I bought this beautiful big big girl Hitty at our recent Hitty event in Branson from Josie Morgan Fuller, who is in my Hitty and Friends Facebook group.

I wanted to make her a new outfit but she also wanted a little face makeover.
Well, I grabbed my paints and added some eyeliner, lipstick(I need to add a little shine to her lips) and blush. Hitty Josie is very happy with her new look and wanted you all to see her.

She is quite a big girl and is so happy to be with our Hitty family. Here you can see her new outfit and that slight little smile on her pretty little face!

Museum Display

I got the chance to set up a Hitty doll display at the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County in Conroe, Texas! It was to be a Christmas Hitty display and I went to work making backdrops, rooms and furniture. Needless to say, I had a ball doing this. I have lots of pictures so you just look and I'll be quiet.
