Meet Hitty Everly

 Meet Hitty Everly! She is my latest carve and you can see I’m not quite finished with her pegs and don’t have her boot laces in yet. I think I’m improving but I think her face is too fat and I still can’t get the eyes right.

I posted this on our Facebook Hitty group and did get lots of suggestions! Just carve her face down. Why couldn't I think of that?

                                                                       

                                                                                             A little chopping of her face and hair line and Hitty Everly looks so much better now.

I like her face much better now. I need to learn how to sand her face more to make it smooth.
